K5 Squared – Scalable Chassis Platform for Restomod Trucks
The Challenge
K5 Squared originally built custom trucks by modifying modern Cadillac chassis to fit vintage Chevy Blazer bodies. While effective for early builds, the process involved heavy modification, inconsistent donor vehicle sourcing, and a lack of scalability. They needed a custom-engineered chassis solution to support full production.
Our Solution
Nextrev Motorsports partnered with K5 Squared to develop a clean-sheet, production-ready chassis that would preserve the modern performance of a Cadillac platform while seamlessly accepting classic truck bodies. We engineered three complete chassis variants in under one year.
